Quality of life and changes in the social dimension of hematopoietic stem cell transplants recipients

ABSTRACT Objectives: to assess/correlate health-related quality of life with the social dimension hematopoietic, autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant patients in three years post-transplant. Methods: longitudinal, observational study 55 patients, a reference hospital Latin America, from September 2013 February 2019, using Quality Life Questionnaire-Core Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy Bone Marrow Transplantation. Results: A total 71% underwent transplantation. The had low averages since baseline stage (55, 21) scores (56) for pancytopenia. There was significant positive correlation between dimension, pancytopenia (p<0.01) follow-up after discharge (p<0.00). is difference (p<0.00) throughout stages, however, not terms type (p>0.36/0.86). Conclusions: better assessments have life. Interventions focusing on multidimensionality construct are necessary.
